March 16, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

16 Mar TAKE A WALK WITH A YAMATJI MAN: AN ARTIST AND HIS STORY
Tuesday 10am to 12pm, Newman Siena Centre (Clune Lecture Theatre). Reg Carnamah is a proud Badimia Yamatji man from the Geraldton and Yalgoo area.
When he took the challenge to use his skills and personal story and struggles to paint the Stations of the Cross during the Coronavirus-led restrictions period, the results were not only fourteen paintings but also acceptance of his past. An accomplished artist with a passion for faith and culture, Reg will share with you his interpretation of the Stations of the Cross and how the challenges that Jesus encountered are reflected in his life journey.
CEWA Ongoing Renewal: this course has been approved for Faith Formation. Cost: $10. Presenter: Reg Carnamah and the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry team.
