The Creed:

The keys that unlock the beliefs of the Christian Faith are stated succinctly in the Nicene Creed, which we pray at every Sunday Mass. Born at the Council of Nicaea in the Fourth Century after intense debates, this formal statement of faith is the foundation of both eastern and western Christianity.

Please join us as we explore the Creed with Bishop Robert Barron in a new study held on Tuesday’s of March and April, morning sessions and evening sessions: April – June.

“Called and Gifted” – Retreat for all St Luke’s Ministries, Volunteers and all who enrich our Parish with their service

We are delighted to invite you to a special retreat morning for our parishioners. This retreat will be held on Saturday, 29 March, from 9am to 1pm at St Luke’s Church, Woodvale.

This is a wonderful opportunity for spiritual renewal, fellowship, and growth in our shared mission and ministry. During the retreat there will be time for input, reflection conversation and prayer.

We encourage all members involved in any Parish Ministry to join us for this enriching experience. Morning tea and lunch provided.

Fr Tony is a Priest of the Diocese of Bunbury, ordained for 43 years, who has work for many years helping to develop the spirituality of adults.

Understanding The Old Testament:
An Ancient Text for Modern Times – 4 weeks course

The Old Testament makes up a very significant part of the Bible. These books contain some of the most renowned stories of Sacred Scripture. Though relatively well-known among Christians and often depicted in popular culture, the deeper implications and understandings of these stories are often missed. This course will unpack some Old Testament stories and reveal how they lay down the foundation for the Christian faith. Together, we will discover that they are as important today as they have ever been.

Christmas is a special time of year. The weeks leading up to it feel both festive and frantic. In the midst of the clamour of the season, the Church’s season of Advent prepares us for the real treasure of Christmas, that God is truly with us, in the flesh. Join us as we journey with the Saints and the Three Wise Men to leave behind all that distracts us to find Christ and discover what makes us truly rich, free and whole.
