Life is stronger than death when it is built on true relationships and bonds of fidelity. In the depths of every heart love creates bonds and expands existence…No single act of love for God will be lost, no generous effort is meaningless, no painful endurance is wasted. All of these encircle our world like a vital force.
Fratelli Tutti 88/194. Pope Francis’s words recall the powerful affirmation of love in the Song of Songs (8:6-7) and draw us into the journey of life, love, death and new life that we make with Christ in this Lenten season.
