TOWARDS THE PLENARY COUNCIL 2020: UNDERSTANDING A MISSIONARY AND EVANGELISING CHURCH

August 27, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm

27 Aug TOWARDS THE PLENARY COUNCIL 2020: UNDERSTANDING A MISSIONARY AND EVANGELISING CHURCH
Thursday 5.30pm to 6.45pm Newman Siena Centre (Room S101).
A key theme highlighted by the recent consultation process for the Plenary Council 2020 was the importance of the need for the Church in Australia to be an evangelising Church – a Church that under-stands its mission and purpose in the world of today and into the future. Looking at the writings coming from the Church we will seek to understand what evangelisation is, who is it aimed at and how it is the proclamation of both the Gospel and of the person of Christ.
